Team Motto

Choosing a team motto is more than just words on a sign—it is a living tradition of the Frankenmuth High School Football Program. For years, the mottos were carefully hand-painted on wooden boards by long-time coach Ric Ruhl, a reminder of the pride and values he helped instill in generations of Eagles. As times have changed, the signs have transitioned from wood to durable printed metal, but the heart of the tradition remains unchanged.

Each past motto now hangs in the locker room, watching over today’s players as a testament to the standards of excellence, perseverance, and unity that define the Eagle Program. They serve as a bridge, connecting current athletes to those who came before them.

For the 2025 season, our chosen motto is “FINISH THE JOURNEY.” This powerful message stands above the exit of the locker room, where every player and coach passes beneath it. It is a constant call to honor the effort, embrace the challenge, and see through the mission we have set before us—together, as one team, one family, one tradition.
